President and founder, Larry Estes is a 1968 engineering graduate of Purdue University. His industrial experience includes positions of increasing scope and responsibility, beginning his career at Sperry Rand Corporation, where he held the positions of Junior Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
At Midas International Corporation, Larry was Product Engineering Manager, responsible for product design, development, and testing. Later, as Chief Engineer at Hesston Corporation, in addition to oversight of the product development process, Estes also assumed responsibility for quality control.
Armed with a hands-on understanding of the product development and manufacturing process, Estes founded Estes Design and Manufacturing, a company that has grown under his stewardship from a two-man operation into a recognized leader in sheet metal fabrication.
