In July of 1998, we obtained our ISO 9002 registration. The ISO system established a set of documented procedures intended to prevent and correct quality failures in manufacturing, from quality planning through the manufacturing process to shipment of products.
As a demonstration of our commitment to continuous improvement, we took the necessary steps and upgraded to an ISO 9001:2000 registration. Awarded in July of 2003, this new standard included procedures to regulate product design and customer satisfaction measurement.
Since 1993, Estes Design and Manufacturing has been registered as a contract manufacturer of medical devices. Our owner/operator number is 9007171.
