Estes Design and Manufacturing is excited to welcome its new Inside Sales Representative – Roger Brown. Roger graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Wabash College and has 26 years of manufacturing sales experience in the metal industry. Roger learned about Estes through his previous role as the National Accounts Manager at Sommer Metalcraft, and Estes’ strong business values attracted Roger to the company.
Within his role as a sales representative, Roger focuses on creating and maintaining relationships with clients and co-workers. He wants to understand people’s needs and help them from the beginning to the end to find solutions to their challenges. Even though he has only worked at Estes for a couple of months, he already enjoys the company’s culture and people. At Estes, employees take the time to get to know one another and their customers. While giving a tour of the manufacturing facility, Roger acknowledged every worker by name, showing how Roger places a high priority on people and developing strong relationships.
Through his experience in the industry, Roger has never seen a company with the amount of technology and equipment in one place. Roger identifies this investment in high quality technology and state-of-the-art equipment as one of Estes’ biggest strengths. Some companies focus on one specific aspect of their business, but Estes takes a broad approach and invests in making the company an industry leader with state-of-the-art technology, innovation and talented people.
With the strengths in personal connections, technology and equipment, Estes is able to bring clients great value. Roger believes that Estes has the ability to help a client even if that client doesn’t know exactly what it wants to do yet. Often, the client simply has an idea, but the client is unable to put the design on paper or know how to engineer it. Fortunately, Estes offers creative, innovative thinking and has the talents to take a project from just an idea to a fully manufactured product.
